So many pieces of me

Travelling and just being away
brought me closer to myself today.
I know what I want and need
and feel like my spirit is freed.

I haven't hiked the highest mountain
or didn't see the most impressive fountain.
I didn't hop over to every country
or payed every earthly borderfee.

But I explored so many pieces of me
and set so many things free.
I am stronger now then I was before
no longer closing, but opening my door...
