Snail mail

Sending and recieving,

really feels like achieving...

something beautiful and sweet,

it is like kissing lips, when pen and paper meet!

Postcrossing, a birthday card or a full letter

there is hardly anything better.

Snail mail has me even more in it's camp

wit this new chocolate-flavoured stamp!

Michaela, my beautiful friend,
writes me letters by hand.
When one of her letters reaches me,
I am as happy as can be!
Oceans between us don't matter
because we get closer in a wonderful letter!

They even smell delicious,
I am tempted to try and eat one...

The good old fashioned letter...

I enjoyed writing postcards while I was travelling,

but of course couldn't really receive

Except for the lovely cards from my Moeke

when I was living in the yoga retreat and Curacao,

and the sweet cards to my Belgian address from Karen

who just kept writing even when I was away.

Those cards where read and shown to me over skype

by that same Moeke.

Thank you to those two lovely ladies!

 

So, I promised myself.

once I am back in one spot,

I will keep writing

and receiving

postcards.
